I’m Maya Rae— a licensed cosmetologist, certified clinical trichologist, and the founder of Miara, where science meets artistry. My mission is to bridge the gap between beauty and biology by helping people heal their hair and scalp through science-backed treatments, education, and care. Helping you feel the most confident in your skin by enhancing your natural beauty is always my goal.

After graduating from the Aveda Institute for Cosmetology and completing advanced clinical certifications with the United States Trichology Institute, I realized how often scalp health is overlooked in traditional salon spaces. Miara was born from that realization— to create a space where clients can experience both stunning results and ultimate relaxation.

As a trichologist, I specialize in custom scalp facials, hair growth programs, and restorative treatments designed to heal and rebalance the scalp while promoting long-term hair health. My background in advanced color and cutting allows me to bring that same precision and personalization into every custom color, dimensional blonding, or signature haircut I create.

Beyond the treatment room, I’m also passionate about bridal and event styling, helping clients look and feel radiant for their most meaningful moments.
